ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a passionate movie enthusiast? Do you have great style, a sharp eye, and a love for
visual storytelling through design?
Are you looking to break into the world of filmmaking?
We’re hiring a COMMERCIAL TREATMENT DESIGNER to join our production company.
This is a junior, entry-level, full-time, in-office position with training provided.
You’ll be responsible for conducting extensive visual research and designing visually compelling
pitch treatments for commercial projects. Your ability to collaborate with directors and producers,
and your skill with design software, will help translate creative ideas into presentation-ready
documents that win jobs.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Conduct extensive visual research into commercials, movies, TV series, and photography to
gather references, inspiration, and relevant material
• Work closely with directors to understand the vision, tone, and objectives of each project
• Design visually captivating pitch treatments that communicate a project’s concept, aesthetic,
and style
• Use Adobe InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop to create pitch decks, mood boards,
and visual presentation materials
• Offer thoughtful input to help elevate the creative direction and impact of each pitch
• Maintain branding guidleines with in-house design projects
• Maintain a high standard of visual quality and consistency across all materials
• Deliver presentations on time, every time
• Stay current with visual trends, new tools, and creative techniques
• Bring a sharp eye for composition, typography, colour, and detail
• Work collaboratively and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
WHAT YOU BRING
• Working knowledge of InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop
• Strong visual sensibility and design instincts
• Passion for film, design, and creative storytelling
• Excellent research skills and a deep interest in visual culture
• A collaborative mindset and openness to feedback
• Strong organizational and time management skills
NICE TO HAVE:
Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite programs like Illustrator, After Effects, or Lightroom
