Education Program Coordinator

Job Description

Summary:
The goal of this position is to provide support to the Professional Development Manager in the review and update of various resources used in the education programs within OAMHP.

Responsibilities:
1. Review and update record keeping course materials based on revised practice standards and new resources
– read and understand the current record keeping course workshop materials
– read and understand updated practice standards from CRPO, CPBAO, and OCSWSSW and any updates to other organizations referenced (specifically IPC)
– advise on where changes need to be made to the record keeping course to keep the information up-to-date and relevant to mental health professionals
– assist with making changes to the course materials
2. Create a resource to support supervisees in record keeping responsibilities
– read and understand updated practice standards from CRPO, CPBAO, and OCSWSSW specifically related to supervisee responsibilities for record keeping and documentation
– advise on resources that can be created to assist supervisees
– assist with development of resources
3. Support certification application updates
– work with professional development manager and administrative coordinator to implement certified member application changes
4. Assist with professional development program work
– work with professional development manager to organize and schedule PD events for 2025-2026
5. Review and update of career paths info sheets
– compare existing career path info sheets with current job practices in the various mental health professions
– advise on required updates
– work with professional development manager and subject matter experts
6. Assist with Standards of Practice revision rollout
– work with professional development manager on projects related to the updated Standards of Practice

Education:
• Completed or close to completing and undergraduate in Psychology or related field.
• An interest in mental health.

Skills:
• Research.
• Knowledge translation.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time and priorities.

Working Conditions:
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift 20lbs
• 30 hours per week
• Ability to work remotely

Remuneration:
$20.00/hour, 30 hours/week, 9 weeks
