MyWorkplaceHealth (MWH) is a full-suite international workplace training and consulting firm with expertise in all things related to the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health & Safety (PH&S) in the Workplace. The Standard is the first of its kind in the world and is shaping policy development for workplace psychological health & safety (PH&S) at the international ISO level. Our team works alongside Dr. Joti Samra, registered psychologist and CEO/founder of MyWorkplaceHealth.

The Opportunity
Dr. Joti Samra, R.Psych. & Associates is a BC-based team of psychological and counselling associates dedicated to enhancing individual and organizational psychological health and wellness through the delivery of high-quality assessment, treatment and consulting services.

We are looking to add driven, passionate, and diverse RPsychs, RCCs & CBT Therapists to our team, willing to commit to a minimum of 20-24 billable hours per/wk, and who have an interest in growing to full-time clinical practice with Dr. Joti Samra, R.Psych. & Associates. A contract-based, associate position with substantive room for growth, our ideal candidate is interested in a long-term associate relationship with our clinical practice. We offer an unique opportunity to gain experience working within a team with deep clinical expertise, involvement in research and policy work relating to PH&S and the National Standard of Canada and under the supervision of Clinic Founder/Owner, Dr. Joti Samra, R.Psych.

We offer an associate, commission-based model in our practice and will consider only clinicians who practice throughout BC, particularly those practicing in areas of Vancouver, Surrey, Kelowna and Vancouver Island.

● PhD or Master’s degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology or a relevant Social Science/Human
Services field
● Current registration and good standing with CPBC or BCACC
● Proficiency with technology with web-based virtual health platforms and office applications
● Strong training in evidence-based treatment modalities
● CBT expertise required
● Experience with chronic pain, personality disorders, addiction and trauma a strong asset
● Training in DBT/ACT/MBCT/MBSR is an asset, however we are open to individuals who are not familiar with these modalities but interested and motivated in enhancing their clinical expertise.

Other Details
This position is an online, virtual role that is required to support a Vancouver-based business operating Monday to Friday from 8 am – 5:00 pm PT. Some evening and weekend availability is preferred.
