Are you a practicum student seeking an enriching and supportive placement to complete your counselling training? Innerlogue Therapy & Psychology in Calgary, Alberta, offers a unique opportunity for growth and hands-on experience with a diverse clientele. Our practice serves children, teens, adults, and couples, and we are particularly interested in candidates who speak Mandarin to better meet our community’s needs. However, all experienced and dedicated students are welcome to apply.

Placement Start Dates: May 2025 (Deadline to apply 12 January 2025)

Placement Details:

• Location: Hybrid mode, with in-person counselling at our Calgary office in Kensington NW, and remote sessions.
• Responsibilities:
  • Provide supervised counselling to children, teens, adults, and couples
  • Conduct intake assessments and co-facilitate sessions
  • Assist with administrative tasks and participate in marketing efforts to gain hands-on experience in private practice operations
• Supervisor: You will work under the guidance of Priscilla, a Registered Psychologist and owner of Innerlogue Therapy & Psychology.
• Requirements: Enrolled in a Master’s program in counselling psychology or a related field, with a preference for students fluent in Mandarin. Prior experience in mental health and cultural sensitivity are valued.
• Time Commitment: Approximately 20 hours per week.
