Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill content creation duties from idea to execution. Assist co-founders Zach & Senia to show the authenticity of the Charmy brand through excellent storytelling to the Charmy community on social media and other platforms.
  • Writing creative copy for Charmy products, blogs, emails, social media posts and educational content.
  • Day-to-day management and maintenance of social media channels, including ownership of social media calendar, tracking mentions, and responding to comments and DMs in a timely manner.
  • Measure and analyze performance and apply learnings to maximize traffic and engagement.
  • Brainstorm new, creative approaches to influencer campaigns, and stay on top of emerging trends on social media & other marketing channels.
  • Assist with additional marketing initiatives as instructed by the leadership team.
  • Handle communications with multiple third-party stakeholders (Media outlets, video makers, contractors etc.)
  • Communicate with the sales & product team to launch new promotional campaigns.

General Qualifications: 

  • Excellent written communication skills with a zest for proper spelling and grammar. We get very zesty with our love of correct spelling and grammar.
  • Have compelling storytelling skills in a way that can touch and empathize our message with Charmy’s audience.
  • Have basic short-form video editing skills on iPhone & iMovie.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Super organized, with solid project management and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to manage multiple marketing campaigns at once and juggle short-term execution with long-term projects.
  • Attention to detail- the ability to accomplish/complete a task while demonstrating a thorough concern for all areas involved to the fine details.
  • Confidence in speaking directly with influencers, agents, and thought leaders in the pet food industry.
  • Deep familiarity with and passion for social media products and channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
  • 1-2 years of work experience in social media marketing and/or related roles in retail/e-commerce business is an asset.
  • You are currently involved in the field of social media or brand building/community.
  • Enthusiasm for the Charmy brand and mission.
