Grigore Counselling & Associates are expanding into Richmond, BC and are seeking qualified counsellors and social workers to see clients in-person and virtually.

Your qualifications should be a Masters’ level clinician with current registration in good standing with BCACC, CCPA, or BCCSW, and possess up-to-date insurance.

Could your bank account use an extra $7200 per month? Your expected compensationwould be approximately $60-$100 per hour, depending on your experience and other factors. We provide a 60/40 split for our clinicians, with an average pay rate of $150 per hour. Let’s say you see 20 clients per week at $150 per client, and after your 60% commission, that could translate into your bank account adding an extra $1800 per week ($7200 per month).

Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and skilled clinicians to join our team on a commission basis. The ideal candidate is comfortable providing both in-person and virtual therapy sessions and is committed to maintaining at least two full in-office days per week (with the option to work additional days).

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC), Registered Social Worker (RSW) or applicable in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body.
• Graduate-level training in an evidence-based modality, such as:
• Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples or Families
• Gottman Method for Couples Therapy
• Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
• Neurofeedback
• Short-Term Intensive Psychodynamic Therapy
• Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
• Trauma-Informed Yoga
• Mindfulness-Based Approaches
• Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct brief 20-minute consultations over the phone or video software to ensure goodness of fit with new potential clients.
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy services to clients within set shift schedule (approximately 8 am to 1 pm, 2 pm to 8 pm).
• Retain clients and ensure positive working relationship as appropriate.
• Maintain professional documentation and adhere to ethical and legal standards.
• Work collaboratively within a team-based environment.
• Be available for at least two full days in-office per week, with additional availability for virtual sessions.
• Ability to increase availability is considered an asset.

Preferred Qualities:

• Ability to work more than the minimum in-office requirement.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Multilingual skills are an asset (particularly Cantonese, Mandarin, or other Chinese dialect).
• LGBTQ+ and BIPOC clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply.
