Connection to Care: Practicum Placement Program

BCACC would like to invite graduate students in the counselling psychology field to apply to join the Connection to Care program. This is a joint program of the BC Municipal Safety Association (BCMSA) and BCACC that is focused on supporting municipal employees from across the province through a virtual therapeutic phone service.

Benefits

By joining the Connection to Care therapeutic team, you will:

  • accumulate supplementary client contact hours.
  • receive free clinical supervision to meet your graduation requirements and fulfill one of the BCACC’s registration requirements.
  • get complimentary BCACC student membership for 1 year which will provide access to various member benefits, including access to purchase affordable professional liability insurance.

  • Cover Letter including your general availability between Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 10 PM

The interview process will begin at the end of February, positions offered by mid – March, training to begin in April and the start date is May 1st, 2024.
