Position Summary

What you’ll be doing
• Develop insightful analytics and business intelligence through various reporting tools: Excel, Showcase Query, Cognos, Caseworks, Odyssey, RL6 Incident Reporting
• Use a variety of programming languages: primarily Microsoft Report Builder, Power BI, and SQL Standard
• Create and analyze existing reports, and assist with updating, correcting and validating reports
• Design and implement reports or queries to respond to recurring needs and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to produce documentation for data sources, data models, source to target mapping and KPI definitions
• Create real-time reports for unit/departmental huddle boards
• Act as Complaints Officer by monitoring the complaints process through administration to ensure process complaint files are closed
• Coordinate data collection from patient feedback
• Support volunteer related activities in support of patient feedback and other quality initiatives, including volunteer overflow
• Develop surveys for paper and digital feedback initiatives utilizing current applications such as Voxco, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics
• Support additional data collection activities for Quality Improvement initiatives
• Collate information developed through Lean-Six Sigma initiatives such as Stop Light Report Aggregation, Time Series, Ticket Analysis, 5S Audit, Process Mapping Support

What we’re looking for
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related discipline
• 1-2 years’ experience in Information Technology, Business Administration, and/or Quality
• Skilled with Microsoft SQL Server, writing queries, stored procedures and views
• Experience creating, editing and managing Microsoft SSRS reports in Report Builder, and Microsoft Power BI data visualizations
• Knowledge of relational database and multi-dimensional design concepts
• Proven ability to manage multiple demands under time pressures while maintaining strong organizational and time management abilities
• Must have or develop an understanding of the utility of current mental health information assessment instruments and systems (i.e. RAI-MH, OQ-45), including applications for using the information in evaluation and decision support activities as well as clinical applications
