Role Overview: As a Student Ambassador at Yorkville University, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the student experience by serving as a liaison between students and various university departments. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to contribute to the university’s vibrant community, while honing your leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Student Ambassadors act as representatives of the university, providing valuable information and support to current and prospective students, promoting events, and fostering a positive campus environment.


  • Serve as the first point of contact for students, guiding them to classrooms, departments, and services.
  • Conduct campus tours for new and prospective students, showcasing the university’s facilities and resources.
  • Offer academic support to students facing challenges in core course concepts, collaborating with faculty.
  • Assist with organizing and promoting university events and activities, both academic and non-academic.
  • Collaborate with different departments, providing cross-support for orientations, events, and activities.
  • Collect and relay feedback from students to improve the overall student experience.
  • Provide accurate information about the university and its services to visitors and students.
  • Create engaging social media content to share student life experiences.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Initiate outbound welcome calls to new students, offering guidance and direction.
  • Represent Yorkville University with professionalism and adherence to the dress code.


  • Currently enrolled in a Yorkville University Degree Program.
  • Good academic standing (minimum 3.2 CGPA) with the expectation to remain in the bracket.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities.
  • Customer service oriented with a student-centered approach.
  • Familiarity with Moodle is advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to personal and professional growth.

Remuneration and Conditions:

  • Hourly compensation: $16.75 per hour.
  • Maximum of 20 hours per week, subject to demand.
  • Monthly pay records to be submitted for approval.
  • Dress code: Business/Business Casual/ Yorkville University shirts, pants, dress shoes, and lanyards.
