Description
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, our Technicians play a key role in providing production services to artists and clients. The Stage and Fly Technician will have a high level of knowledge in stage production, counterweight fly systems, video projection and basic rigging skills. Specifically, the Technician is responsible for the following:

Providing technical production services to artists and clients
–
Providing high quality customer service
–
Working in various areas of technical services as required, typically in the role of Head of Stage
–
Providing supervision and training to other technicians in the areas of technical production, safety and maintenance
–
Identifying maintenance and improvement areas for technical, safety and aesthetic function
–
Inspecting stage equipment and fly systems for safety, effectiveness and deficiency.

Salary Range:
$52,700 — $52,700
Benefits:
This position is union-represented under IATSE Local 680 and salary and comprehensive benefits package will be in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

Working in a collaborative, fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, the ideal candidate will have good working knowledge of theatre operations and equipment. They will demonstrate that they can work well in a team environment and have a desire to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients. They can demonstrate strong competencies in problem-solving, organizational and interpersonal skills. They will enjoy the challenge of working with both professional and community arts groups to provide the technical production needs of performances.
This role requires frequent work on evenings and weekends.
