Medical Arts Health Research Group is a clinical research organization. Our goal is to bring the best of new treatment options to patients, medical professionals and communities.

Our work environment includes a modern medical setting with all necessary equipment and staff to carry out studies.

Responsibilities:
– Provide direct patient support for psilocybin treatments for Treatment Resistant Depression patients under a double blind placebo controlled clinical research study

– Complete the psilocybin therapist training (remote)

– Conduct the preparatory, the intervention and the integration visits with the patient (approximately 12 hours; hybrid)

– Being able to conduct an 8 hour session in person on a weekday (as needed)

– Participate in continuous therapist trainings (online)
– Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify patients who may benefit and evaluate patient compliance with inclusion exclusion criteria

Experience:
– Must be a registered clinical counsellor or registered nurse with psychiatric experience

– Previous experience in psychedelic field or therapy is an asset
– Previous experience in mental health field is required
– Experience working with diverse populations is an asset
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle crisis situations calmly.
