Position Overview:

An Interior Design Intern supports senior designers in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. This role offers hands-on experience in various aspects of the design process, including drafting layouts, sourcing materials, and preparing presentations. The intern will also gain proficiency in design software and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in drafting layouts and creating detailed drawings using AutoCAD.
• Support the selection and sourcing of materials, furnishings, and décor elements.
• Prepare and organize presentations for client meetings.
• Conduct research on design trends, materials, and furnishings to keep the design team informed.
• Participate in site visits, taking measurements and photographs as needed.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to source materials and coordinate deliveries.
• Assist in managing social media platforms by planning content and maintaining profiles

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with design software such as SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to participate in all aspects of the design process.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
