BEW Family and Community Support Services in Coaldale, Alberta 

We are a Yorkville approved MACP practicum site and have provided practicum placements for counselling students for the past 7 years.  Due to the large number of  counselling students, from other educational institutions, looking for practicum placements  and the limited practicum placements available in our area, I wanted to take a moment to make you aware that FCSS  counselling  practicum students looking for a placement  in 2027 can begin submitting resumes and cover letters to us throughout 2026.

Our placements will be onsite 

Practicum Site: Barons, Eureka, Warner Family and Community Support Services

Site Location: 2107-13th Street, Coaldale Alberta

Site Description: BEW FCSS is a non-profit human services agency that is funded 80% by the AB provincial government and 20% by  16 rural  municipalities in the southeast region of AB.  We provide counselling services to the residents of 16 municipalities which lends an opportunity for counselling practicum students to work with clients of various genders, ethnic, religious, non-religious, cultural backgrounds  (ie indigenous, Low German Mennonites, Hutterites, ), socio-economic backgrounds.  For more information about FCSS  you can visit www.fcss.ca
