This is an exciting opportunity in a Junior to Intermediate role for support of our Estimating and Project Management departments. Growth, development and promotion for the successful proponent is anticipated and will be encouraged.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee projects from Initiation Phase to Closure Phase
  • Ensure project activities move according to predetermined schedule
  • Get thorough understanding of Amico product lines and assist internal team when required
  • Assist Sales with Quotation & Estimating process
  • Post-Sale customer interaction to obtain required documentation and following-up for same
  • Act as liaison between customer and Amico team for required information
  • Review and control all related documents for projects
  • Co-ordinate internal meetings and noting Minutes of Meeting as required
  • Coordinate with shipping team to ensure on time delivery
  • Generate invoices and other project closure documents as required
  • Provide post sales service as required
  • Maintain ownership for execution of all client’s specific service deliverables
  • Prepare project-based wiring drawings using AutoCAD
  • Prepare project-based ceiling layouts of fixtures using AutoCAD
  • Any other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years’ experience working as a Project Coordinator in the construction industry is an asset
  • Any Project Management related education, training or certification is an asset
  • Ability to manage and facilitate numerous projects with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines, multitask and follow up
  • Experience working with an ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning software is an asset
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and basic electrical engineering concepts is an asset
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication
  • Self-motivated, self-dedicated, and result oriented
  • Good leadership and ability to drive initiatives
  • Proficiency in MS office, Excel & Power Point and AutoCAD
